Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign tasks and duties to sales staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Authorize payments, order merchandise, and manage inventory levels to ensure the store is well-stocked and running smoothly.
  • Establish work schedules, manage staff attendance, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide recommendations to improve sales performance.
  • Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to multitask, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced retail environment, with a high level of customer interaction.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, with regular breaks.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional heavy lifting required.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication, with some French language skills an asset.
Work Schedule:
  • 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
