Job Title: Security Guard, High-Profile Commercial Setting

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at one of our High-Profile Commercial sites in Winnipeg, MB.

Job Summary:

As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and employees. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, accessing control of entry ways and exit points, and performing regular patrols to maintain order and establish presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
  • Perform regular patrols to maintain order and establish presence
  • Ensure identified doors are locked and secured
  • Enforce property regulations and city by-laws on the client's site
  • Respond to any complaints from visitors or staff
  • Observe and report any issues, deficiencies, or incidents that occur on the site
  • Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, and other safety issues
  • Complete daily reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain good staff relationships
  • Be the first point of contact for emergency responders
  • Daily monitoring of CCTV
  • Documentation of systems
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Security Guard in a high-profile site (asset)
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
