Position Overview

The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University invites applications for a three-year Extended Term Appointment (ETA) faculty position in the area of Engineering Fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach core undergraduate engineering and engineering mathematics courses
  • Assign graduate courses
  • Develop and lead core engineering undergraduate courses, including course content, delivery, and evaluation
  • Coordinate multiple sections across the academic year
  • Supervise students' project work
  • Contribute to Department and program administration, including the implementation of CEAB Graduate Attributes

Qualifications and Assets

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace engineering
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree in an Engineering discipline related to these fields
  • Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec
  • Relevant engineering experience and/or industrial experience
