We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager to join our team at Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit projects, providing expert advice and guidance to management, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on risk management and audit-related matters.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and audit programs to evaluate risks.
- Lead and manage a team of audit staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Prepare and present audit reports, including executive summaries and recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management and auditing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive work experience in internal or external auditing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of risks within the banking industry and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- University degree plus a relevant professional designation (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and internal audit professional standards.
