We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Kralt Greenhouses Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Apply insecticides and fungicides to plants as needed
- Mix and prepare soils for optimal plant growth
- Plant bulbs and seeds in a controlled environment
- Pot and re-pot plants to maintain healthy growth
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to ensure maximum yield
- Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant development
- Monitor plants for signs of insect or disease damage and report findings
- Assist in grafting activities to improve plant stock
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a healthy environment
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement as needed
Staff accommodation is available on site.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
- Experience is an asset
- English language proficiency is required
- Ability to work 45 hours per week
