We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum three years of experience working in an acute care environment, with a focus on patient care and management.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within the past three years.
- Valid driver's license.
- Advanced preparation in a clinical specialty, such as emergency, perinatal, or perioperative care.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, with a focus on patient care and management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
