Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products, adhering to company standards and quality control measures.
  • Corrective Actions: Perform corrective machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Production Monitoring: Record production information, including quantities, quality, and any issues encountered during the production process.
  • Quality Control: Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions, ensuring products meet company standards.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication: Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  • Shift Log: Maintain a shift log of production and other data, providing valuable insights for process improvements.
  • Setup and Adjustment: Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Product Inspection: Check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards, upholding our commitment to quality.
  • Tobacco Processing: Operate machines that blend, flavor, condition, dry, flatten, strip, or cut raw tobacco leaves, adhering to company protocols.
Requirements
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English language proficiency is required.
