Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical tasks as required.
