Electronics Assembler Job Description
Smartrend Manufacturing Group is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of quality electronic products on our manufacturing line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering operations to ensure high-quality products.
- Conduct visual and AOI inspections of PCBAs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Connect and solder lead wires to PCBs, and apply mask and conformal coatings.
- Perform First Article Inspection on first-off PCBAs to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assemble electronic assemblies to mechanical assemblies, and read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and accurate assembly.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with electronic component identification and IPC610 standards.
- Able to read drawings/blueprints and understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment, with good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Experience with fabrication using basic hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Knowledge of production documentation and mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- An energetic, diligent work ethic and ability to work with little supervision.
