Key Responsibilities- Support fellow processing personnel in the effective operation of woodworking machines and equipment.
- Remove scrap wood and chips for recycling and reprocessing.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and immediate workspaces.
- Ensure a tidy work environment.
This role is set in a sawmill environment, where you will be engaged in physically demanding tasks that require repetitive motions.
Product FocusYour primary focus will be on the production of lumber.
Equipment Experience- Familiarity with tools such as picaroon and shovel is essential.
The job involves handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Personal Equipment- Safety gear, including steel-toed safety boots, is mandatory.
- No formal education is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally between 1 to 7 months.
