We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at GR Baker Memorial Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Ability to promote safe, competent, patient care.
- Ability to recognize and intervene appropriately in an emergency situation.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to operate related equipment including computer software such Microsoft Office, Outlook.
- Comprehensive benefit packages including, extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees. Casuals have the option of paying for benefits.
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
