About the Opportunity
The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the Hospital for Sick Children and the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto invite applications for two faculty positions in the Division of Vascular Interventional Radiology/Image Guided Therapy. The successful candidates will work across all modalities of pediatric interventional imaging, including vascular and gastrointestinal accesses, biopsies, body angiography/angioplasty/embolization, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a collaborative team with high professional values
- Conduct complex interventional procedures, including image-guided tumor ablation techniques and chemo or radioembolization
- Participate in research and academic activities, including protected time for research and academic development
- Be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and eligible for academic appointment at the University of Toronto
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certification in diagnostic radiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent
- Fellowship and clinical experience in body pediatric interventional radiology and vascular anomalies
- Eligibility for academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor
What We Offer
- Faculty appointment at the University of Toronto and salary range of approximately $350,000 to $500,000
