The Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at Mazergroup involves maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment used in agricultural and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work in diverse environments.

Qualifications
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
  • Instruct apprentices in mechanical tasks
  • Troubleshoot and inspect machinery to identify faults
  • Utilize computerized and other testing equipment for diagnostics
  • Adjust and repair equipment, replacing defective components as necessary
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Test repaired machinery to ensure compliance with manufacturers' specifications
  • Attach components and adjust new equipment as required
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Service attachments and working tools
Certifications
  • Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate
Training
  • Completion of Level Three and Level Four apprenticeship training

  • Driving record check (abstract) required
Transportation Requirements
