About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our Salesforce Marketing team at Arc'teryx Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems to meet the business requirements of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable solutions across our Salesforce products, including Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization, and Service Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain integration endpoints from the Salesforce platform and understand, develop, and manage Salesforce external services.
  • Work closely with the development team to build and architect solutions in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages.
  • Provide coaching to peers on the Salesforce development teams in all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Communicate project and operation status, issues, risks, and resolutions in an agile development methodology.
  • Develop and manage integration endpoints from the Salesforce platform and understand, develop, and manage Salesforce external services.
  • Work with large volumes of data and build data mapping processes to marketing cloud and other integrations.
  • Analyze Salesforce technical debt and propose solutions and implement solutions.
  • Proactively maintain system and code monitoring, including security reviews, release updates, and code reviews of other developers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer/Specialist.
  • Completed Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Email Specialist, and Developer certifications.
  • Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMP Script skills for building and designing visually appealing email templates.
  • Experience working with Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Personalization.
  • Experience or exposure working on Marketing Cloud Implementations in the Retail Space.
  • Ability to build strong test scripts and thoroughly test solutions.
  • Demonstrated success working in an Agile methodology, familiar with tools like Jira and DevOps practice.
  • Passion for Salesforce technology and continuous improvement.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
