Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring clients receive the necessary care.
  • Nutrition and Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: Provide emotional support and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client care, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and report any changes or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
