About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Spicy Time Fine Indian Cuisine & Sweets. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Load and unload dishwashers, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Scour pots and pans to ensure cleanliness and prevent damage
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Availability to work 20-36 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
