We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to enhance our culinary team. At Lone Star Texas Grill, our prep cooks are passionate about gastronomy and collaborate with fellow culinary professionals to deliver exceptional, freshly prepared dishes. We emphasize the importance of in-house food preparation while upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. You will have the opportunity to master the art of Tex-Mex cuisine and advance your culinary journey as far as you desire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for service, including our signature salsa, queso, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, beans, and various sauces and spices.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized.
  • Work alongside service staff to guarantee that our finest products are prepared and presented to guests.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 30lbs.
  • Capacity to remain active and engaged throughout the shift.
  • Previous experience in a culinary setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
