Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Lead Technical Product Strategist to become a vital part of our energetic team. In this position, you will spearhead the creation and execution of new functionalities and offerings that elevate the Adevinta platform. Your collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and other interdisciplinary teams will be crucial in delivering solutions that cater to user needs while aligning with our strategic objectives. Your focus will include working with our APIs, Core Services, Search, and Data teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Vision and Strategy: Formulate and uphold a detailed product vision and strategy that resonates with Adevinta's business goals and technical aspirations. Identify avenues for innovation and expansion within the online marketplace.
  2. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other departments to outline product specifications, prioritize features, and guarantee successful product rollouts. Cultivate a cooperative atmosphere that promotes creativity and innovation.
  3. Technical Proficiency: Utilize your technical expertise to connect business and engineering teams effectively. Provide comprehensive technical specifications and requirements to steer development initiatives.
  4. Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and employ analytical tools to monitor product performance. Continuously assess and refine products based on user insights and data-driven evaluations.
  5. User-Centric Approach: Champion the interests of Adevinta users by delivering solutions that ensure a smooth and satisfying experience. Collect and integrate user feedback into the product development process to enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
  1. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. Over 5 years of experience in product management, particularly with a focus on technical products in a digital or e-commerce context.
  3. A robust technical foundation with the capability to convey intricate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  4. A proven history of successfully launching and managing products from conception through to post-launch.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, employing a data-driven methodology for decision-making.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  7. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  8. A passion for innovation, user experience, and ongoing improvement.
