Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ontario INC. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is always stocked with the latest products
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is always well-stocked and that products are easily accessible to customers
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
