Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Daily set-up and general organization of the bar area, ensuring appropriate stock of glassware, drink ingredients, and supplies
  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Adhere to Company policies and Liquor Control Board specifications and Safety Regulations when serving alcohol to guests
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
  • In addition to tending the bar, table service of food and beverage may be required as business levels dictate
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Requirements:
  • Previous Food and Beverage service experience an asset
  • Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
