About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team at TJ's Pizza. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including vans and light trucks, to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell products to customers over established routes, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of products.
  • Trip Planning and Record Keeping: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes, and record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs.
  • Payment and Reconciliation: Process payments for goods and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence, permitting the operation of cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina to handle the demands of the role.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 32-35 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
