Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Designer to join our team at Ace Manufacturing Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical equipment and systems, working closely with our engineering team to ensure efficient and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical equipment and systems, including tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
  • Test machines and equipment
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Outlook, and MS Project
  • Knowledge of machinery and components, steam, condensation, and water systems, and process piping
