- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication throughout the transportation process.
- Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling procedures.
- Dangerous Goods Transport: Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to strict regulations and protocols.
- Delivery and Customer Service: Deliver goods to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) and other relevant documentation.
- Transportation Experience: Possess experience in local, long-haul, regional, and short-haul transportation.
- Security and Safety: Meet the requirements for a bondable individual, with a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and perform tasks that require attention to detail.
