CCTV Inspection Technician

Job Summary:

Mainline Construction is seeking a skilled CCTV Inspection Operator to join our team. As a CCTV Inspection Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting underground pipelines using a CCTV inspection truck, performing pressure tests, and ensuring the quality and completeness of work performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect underground pipelines using a CCTV inspection truck and document findings.
  • Perform pressure tests and flushing and disinfection of pipes.
  • Direct and supervise the activities of a Locator who will assist with project tasks.
  • Complete and submit required reports and project data on a regular basis.
  • Adhere to and enforce safety standards.
  • Plan and execute projects in an efficient manner without direct oversight at all times.
  • Coordinate activities with other operators and supervisors.
  • Maintain equipment in a good operating condition and perform minor repairs.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • NASSCO PACP certification.
  • Valid Alberta Class 3 Operators license with Q endorsement and clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Proficiency with pipe inspection programs, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated attitude and ability to work without direct supervision at times.
  • Excellent team skills.
  • Ability to adapt and deal with issues as they arise.
