Job Title: Roofing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Friends Roofing. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing, single-ply roofing, and metal roofing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel
  • Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
Work Environment:

As a Roofing Specialist, you will work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
