The role of a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our culinary environment at Gastronomy Gastown. This position involves various tasks aimed at ensuring that all kitchenware is sanitized and ready for use.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
- Utilize dishwashing equipment to effectively clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Organize and store cleaned items in designated areas.
- Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen tools as necessary.
- Scrub and clean pots and pans to ensure they meet health standards.
This position operates in a fast-paced kitchen setting, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods.
Weight Handling- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Reliability and a strong sense of teamwork are essential.
No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
