Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team at Safeway Travel Services. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring the highest level of data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and register documents for data entry, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
- Enter data according to specified formats, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Transfer data between software systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal errors.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
- Store, update, and maintain databases, ensuring data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Perform backup procedures to ensure data preservation and prevent loss.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
- Classify, label, and store diskettes/disks and tapes of data, maintaining a secure and organized environment.
- Create digital records using a scanner, ensuring high-quality images and accurate data capture.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective data entry processes.
- Transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
