  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of our vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records for auditing and reporting purposes.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with driver logbooks and other documentation required for international transportation.
  • Transportation Experience: Proven experience in international, local, national, and provincial/territorial transportation.
  • Security and Safety: Valid passport, criminal record check, and driving record check (abstract)
  • Transportation Information: Willingness to drive manual transmission vehicles, travel cross-border, and work extended periods.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to handle heavy loads, work overtime, and sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgment, and reliability.
Work Environment:
  • On the Road Job: This is a permanent, on-the-road position with a variable schedule.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Hours of Work: 50 to 60 hours per week.
