Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge power systems solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of power system generation and merchant transmission integration and interconnection services in the Western Interconnection and ERCOT.
  • Manage and lead power system engineers, perform analyses, and manage client communications.
  • Identify optimal strategy for project interconnection to the grid based on system impacts and assessing grid capacity.
  • Support business development activities within ERCOT and/or the West.
  • Work on interconnection projects, including modeling, due diligence, interconnection analysis.
  • Create and validate PSSE, PSLF and PSCAD models for renewable generation: Solar PV, BESS, Wind.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative study approaches/techniques.
  • Lead, teach and mentor junior level Power Systems Engineers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer.
  • Proven team player with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.
  • Strong customer focus, both internal and external.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, projects and resources.
