Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at BEECH NURSERY GROUP INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our greenhouse and outdoor gardens, ensuring they are healthy and thriving.

• Apply fertilizers and other plant nutrients to promote healthy growth
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, ensuring they receive the right amount of moisture
• Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees in our greenhouse and outdoor gardens
• Cut grass and maintain our lawns to a high standard
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
• Rake and collect refuse to keep our gardens clean and tidy
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, ensuring it is in good working order

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
• Or equivalent experience
• Criminal record check
• Work Term: Seasonal
• Work Language: English
• Hours: 40 hours per week
