Circulate Cardiac and Vascular Care is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all cardiac imaging equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for cardiac imaging procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent.
- Image Acquisition: Acquire high-quality cardiac images using various modalities, including electrocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, and exercise stress testing.
- Report Generation: Generate detailed reports of imaging findings for interpretation by cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that imaging procedures and equipment are functioning optimally.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Certifications: Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.
