About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Sunnyslope Foods Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment, to ensure a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, if necessary.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position.
  • 35-40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
