Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team in Kapuskasing, ON. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving service issues in the outside plant for both forward and return path.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service by resolving service issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the technical team to maintain the outside plant network and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify and troubleshoot service problems, including faults found from the mainline to the customer's premises.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve service quality and reduce downtime.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized Electronics program.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to manually lift, push, and pull up to 90 lbs.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather conditions and safely aloft from a ladder, pole gaffs, or bucket truck near energized equipment and/or power lines.
