Essential Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the automotive sector
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (ASQ) or in progress
  • Familiarity with AIAG APQP and various quality methodologies
  • Experience in CNC machining, assembly, and additional manufacturing techniques
  • Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in computer-based applications
Core Responsibilities:
  • Execute quality engineering activities to bolster manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on APQP and PPAP initiatives
  • Effectively resolve customer concerns and non-conformance issues
  • Uphold quality standards and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in quality planning and enhancement efforts
  • Conduct audits and evaluate supplier PPAP submissions
  • Engage in Lean manufacturing projects
  • Support prototype sample submissions and the development of PFMEAs
