Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Station Attendant to join our team at Integra Tire Whitehorse. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Fuel Sales and Service: Operate the fuel pumps, handle cash and credit transactions, and perform minor service and maintenance tasks on vehicles.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of fuel, oil, and accessories, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Store Maintenance: Perform minor property maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organizing the store, and ensuring that the facility is safe and secure.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare daily reports of fuel, oil, and accessory sales, and maintain accurate records of customer transactions.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Propane Pump Operator Licence and a valid Driver's License are required.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability are essential for this role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp conditions, odours, and a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting: The work setting is an automotive service station, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.
