NanoXplore Inc. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technologist to join our team. This role is essential for enhancing our production capabilities in the manufacturing of plastic and composite components.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing innovative solutions for production challenges.
- Implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Conducting maintenance and repair tasks on existing equipment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine product and process development.
Qualifications required:
- A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility for registration with CTTAM as a Technologist.
- Experience in design related to tooling, equipment, or manufacturing processes.
- A strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation.
- Proficiency in Solid modeling software, ideally Solid Edge or Solid Works.
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience in the manufacturing of composites or plastics is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with process automation and PLCs is highly valued.
