Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario scope of practice
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emergency department policies, procedures, and protocols
Requirements:
  • Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum of two years recent nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Completion of a 12 lead ECG interpretation and basic cardiac arrhythmia interpretation courses
  • Current BLS certification
  • Completion of IV Start/Therapy course or equivalent
