Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at 4393017 Nova Scotia Limited. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting electrical tests, preparing estimates, and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs
  • Plan service routes to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Diagnose faults using testing devices and refer to schematic drawings or product manuals as needed
  • Repair and replace faulty electrical components
  • Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment
  • Use specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment. As a Service Technician, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical appliance repair
  • Client focus, organized, and a team player
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
