Bombardier is a global leader in aviation, and we're seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at the Opa Locka Service Center. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bombardier's quality standards
- Collaborate with quality leadership to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Perform weighing procedures and document receipt of aircraft and components
- Coordinate inspection activities and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance and corrective actions
- Research aircraft drawings and technical data to support inspection and maintenance activities
- Provide data to customers as requested
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- Minimum 3 years' aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years' of corporate / commercial jet experience
- Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control
- Ability to use measuring and basic hand tools to interpret/operate test equipment
- Working knowledge of FAA Regs, CAA, RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS, etc.
- Working knowledge of return-to-service procedures
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor employees in performance of their duties
