About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Jerry's Diesel Performance Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your expertise to identify and fix problems with truck systems, including electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, and fuel and emission systems.
  • Inspect and Test Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to advise them on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
