  • Inspect machinery to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with safety standards and relevant regulations.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role within production, construction, or fabrication.
  • Preferred experience in fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with rigging, fall protection, forklifts, and scissor lifts is beneficial.
  • Direct knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and logistics.
  • Understanding of supply ordering and inventory management.
  • Awareness of local and federal regulations, including safety and employment standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Experience in metalworking or forming is a plus.
  • First Aid certifications are considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of safe practices and procedures throughout the manufacturing process is crucial.

Work Environment

  • Work is conducted in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Manual dexterity is required for tool usage.
  • Exercise caution due to the presence of various natural hazards.
  • Consistently adhere to safety policies, including the use of protective equipment.

Collaboration

  • Communication primarily occurs within the assigned team and with Production Managers or Supervisors.
