Position OverviewThe Team
Become a part of a diverse and inclusive workforce at the Supply Services Branch, focusing on the role of a Junior Disposal Associate. This position is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and modernizing inventory management and distribution services for government entities.
Key Responsibilities
This role encompasses the administration, coordination, and disposal of surplus government assets, guided by the Operations Manager. You will be tasked with developing and executing sales strategies tailored for government and public sector clients, ensuring effective and fair asset management.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service across various communication channels.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- At least 3 years of experience providing administrative support to a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel Spreadsheets, for a minimum of 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP business systems for at least 2 years.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift heavy items (up to 30 Kg), such as boxes and large equipment.
This role requires full-time on-site engagement. An eligibility list may be created to address both current and future permanent vacancies.
