AWC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Senior Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding aluminum and stainless-steel components using various shop equipment and tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and weld components according to specified layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
  • Maintain accurate daily records as required.
  • Safely operate and use a variety of shop equipment and tools, including forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, rigging, grinders, cutting torches, and other hand tools.
  • Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control activities as required.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist the Fabrication Foreman with duties and responsibilities as needed.
  • Occasional field site work and associated travel as required.
  • Confined Space work activities – training will be provided.
  • Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work independently based on drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure work is performed efficiently and within schedule requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalentAccredited Trade school or equivalent experience
  • Experience: + years relevant fabrication and welding or equivalent+ years as an Intermediate fabricator / welder or equivalent
  • Certifications: CWB & ASME (as applicable)
