Job Title: MSI Test Engineering Manager

Location: Global

Department: Test Equipment & Process Section

The successful candidate will report to the Test Engineering Senior Manager and be responsible for all Equipment Support, Equipment/Process Engineering, and supporting Test Operations/Technical Staff, growing the organization into a world-class team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing all aspects of Equipment Support and Equipment/Process Engineering functions for the department.
  2. Budgeting, recruiting, hiring, and training of the Equipment/Process team to meet Test Operation output needs.
  3. Budgeting, monitoring, controlling, and improving Equipment/Process related expenses.
  4. Setting up all Equipment Engineering and Equipment Support processes, including maintenance procedures.
  5. Ensuring proper Equipment/process related documentation is in place for the Test site.
  6. Interacting with peers and other Departments globally as required.
  7. Monitoring, reporting, improving, and addressing issues with throughput, performance metrics, and other engineering data.
  8. Responsible for performance of all equipment in the department.
  9. Ensuring availability of equipment, materials, spares, repairs, and consumables to support the operation and manufacturing ramp-up.
  10. Performance management of the Equipment Support Team and its members.
  11. Development of the Equipment Support Team and its members from Skills and Leadership perspective.
  12. Responsible for disciplinary issues within the Equipment Section team.
Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will:

  1. Have a minimum of 7 years technical staff leadership experience.
  2. Have good communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and team building skills.
  3. Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, resource and performance management skills.
  4. Be proficient with reporting and data tools and manufacturing software systems, and engineering and equipment support software applications.
  5. Have extensive knowledge of ATE, burn in and/or AOI scanner/laser marker/packing equipment & process.
  6. Be fluent in English.
  7. Possess an Engineering Degree.
