Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing general and specialized respiratory care in various settings, including clinics and home environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct respiratory therapy procedures, such as oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists (SCRT).
  • Successful completion of a Respiratory Therapist registration examination administered by the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Registered member in good standing with the SCRT.
  • Certification in BCLS.
  • Certified Respiratory Educator preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of previous related clinical experience.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in a community setting.
  • Experience in adult education an asset.
