About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at HIDE-A-WAY CAFE. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict cleaning protocols.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, adhering to our waste management procedures.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for cooking and presentation.

Work Environment
