Position Overview

Adept Landscape & Construction Inc. is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Supervisor to oversee our outdoor projects and ensure the highest standards of landscape management.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The role involves working primarily outdoors, often at heights and in hot conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, and lawns.
  • Recruit, manage, and schedule team members effectively.
  • Organize and oversee the planting processes for various landscaping projects.
  • Plan and execute grounds maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction projects from start to finish.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Troubleshoot work-related issues, providing technical guidance and recommendations to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Establish work schedules and operational procedures.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and handle physically demanding tasks including:

Equipment Requirements

Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory for this role.
