Job Title: Asset Management Leader

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset Management Leader to join our team in Grande Prairie. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering, control systems, and instrumentation, with a proven track record of project management and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage electrical, control, and instrumentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve project goals.
  • Act as a technical resource to various projects within a Controls & Automation, Electrical and/or Instrumentation capacity.
  • Provide technical guidance/mentoring to junior resources.
  • Coordinate technical support as required to efficiently produce project deliverables.
  • Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control checking and guidance within area of technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
  • Degree or diploma from a recognized technical institute in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Design, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or comparable Industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related working experience in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Design, Instrumentation Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Management role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven technical competence within the Controls/Automation, Electrical and/or Instrumentation disciplines backed by solid technical post-secondary training.
  • Proven experience working independently to organize, plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
