Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Dollarama L.P. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Store Manager in managing staff, executing daily operational tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Recruit, train, and develop new employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Perform cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
- Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Responsible for the hiring and performance management process.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the retail industry.
- At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
- Open availability required (day, evening, weekend).
- Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities.
