Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Upholsterer to join our team at U.Ps and Company inc.. This role involves the restoration and enhancement of various furniture pieces through expert upholstery techniques.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Replace damaged webbing, springs, and other components of furniture.
  • Cut, fabricate, and install upholstery materials with precision.
  • Apply ornamental trims, braids, or buttons using tacking, gluing, or sewing methods.
  • Repair and refinish furniture frames and wooden surfaces to restore their original beauty.
  • Utilize sewing machines or hand-sewing techniques as needed.
  • Enhance the aesthetics of seats by garnishing the bottom and back with interwoven rattan.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in upholstery is considered an asset.
  • Employment duration: Permanent.
  • Working language: English.
  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week.
